Jackie Chan to release Dasavatharam's audio

The most awaited movie of 2008, Dasavatharam's audio is to be released by none other than Jackie Chan on 2 April. Audiences are keen to see their favorite actor Kamal Haasan in 10 avatars (incarnations). He has already thrilled audiences with his unique looks in movies like Hindustani and Chachi 420. Plans are on to invite prominent actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, Telugu mega star Chiranjeevi and Malayalam superstars Mammootty, Mohanlal and Vishnuvardhan for the mega launch.

Oscar Films' Dasavatharam audio release would create a new history of Indian Cinema. Jackie was shown a few clippings from the movie and he appreciated Haasan for giving his best in the movie. He readily agreed to be part of the audio launch. Apart from Tamil, Sony BMG is releasing Dasavatharam's music in Hindi and Telugu. To recall, Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat paired with Chan in the movie The Myth.

The score has been given by music composer Himesh Reshamiya. The movie directed by KS Ravikumar and produced by Oscar Ravichandran features Haasan as a Punjabi Person, President George Bush, Wrestler, Swami Ji and Scientist etc. while Asin and Sherawat giving him the right company.

Also, the crew is exuding confidence that Reshamiya's songs would top the audio charts. "He has come up with new sounds and catchy tunes that are sure to become big hits," said one of the crew members. The story of this film is by Haasan.

The film was made in a whopping 120 Crores with an all-star line up of actors. The film was shot in Chennai, Chidambaram, Washington D.C, Orlando, Tokyo and Malaysia.

Dasavatharam's audio launch in March!

‘Dasavatharam' is a high budget film starring Kamal Haasan, Asin and Mallika Sherawat in the lead roles. Kamal plays ten different roles in the film. The latest buzz in the industry is that the audio launch for the film is expected to take place in the month of March. The chief guest for the launch would be Jackie Chan. The film is produced by Oscar Ravichandran. The producer announced last month that Jackie Chan would be invited as a Chief Guest for the audio launch of the film. Ravichandran's brother Ramesh Babu has gone to Japan to meet Hollywood star. The team is waiting for the return of Ramesh Babu, who is expected to be returning to Chennai this week. Sony has obtained the rights for the songs of ‘Dasavatharam'. It is expected that around two lakhs CD's might be released in the market and the price of each CD will be fixed at Rs. 99.

Aamir Khan Ghajini Hindi Movie already made Rs 90 crore.

Aamir Khan Hindi Ghajini Movie has reportedly already made Rs 90 crore.

Ghajini is the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil film Ghajini to be directed by A. R. Murugadoss. The original version of the film was inspired by Christopher Nolan’s critically acclaimed Memento. The film depicts the life of an anterograde amnesiac, in search for the man who murdered his wife. Ghajini will feature Aamir Khan, Asin Thottumkal and Jiah Khan in lead roles. A. R. Rahman will be scoring the music for the film whilst Ravi K. Chandran and Anthony handle cinematography and editing of the film respectively. The film began shooting in May 2007, with songs having been shot in the Deadpan Desert of Namibia and in Cape Town, South Africa.

According to reports, the Indian Film Company has bagged the domestic distribution rights for the Aamir Khan-starrer for an estimated Rs 53 crore. While its home video rights, overseas rights and satellite rights have been sold for another Rs 40 crore. Which brings the grand total to Rs 93 crore. This is the largest ever in Indian Cinema.

Aamir Khan goes on Floor as the Producer-Actor in his next flick which is the remake of the greatest south hit “Ghajini” featuring Surya. The movie was formally launched in Mumbai on the 7th of May with actors Surya and Chiranjeevi.
