Asin has set a new record of completing the entire dubbing for the second half of her portion of Dasavatharam in a single day! She has finished her entire work for the magnum opus which is getting ready for a Pongal 2008 release.
It is a unique record as normally heroines take at least four to five days to complete the dubbing work for a film. And professional dubbing artists who dub for today’s heroines take minimum two to three days to complete their work.
Surprised her hero Kamal Hassan and director K.S Ravikumar, who were present in the studio during her dubbing session which started early in the morning and went up to late in the evening. Actually Kamal and Ravikumar had kept three days for Asin to dub for the film, as her role is the second most important character in the film after the hero. They expected it to be a tough job, as she had to speak with a Thanjavur Brahminical accent, but she managed to pull it off in most cases in the first take itself! Later Kamal congratulated her for her, commitment, passion and devotion to her work, which he said was simply amazing. Asin the perfectionist flashed her famous “Colgate-Max Fresh” smile, and thanked him.
